Unleashed! "A Bash on the Bayou."

We have some great news to share with you and some news that is not so great.  The good news is that 2011 Unleashed! “A Bash on the Bayou” is just a week away and we here at St. Tammany Humane Society can’t wait for the “paw-ty”!   The Humane Society Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers and most importantly, the abandoned animals of the shelter are so excited about the party and hope that we can count on you to be here with us.  The evening will include complimentary food from over 20 of the finest local restaurants, an open bar, silent auction, live music, adoptable shelter pups, and a fun-filled evening that will rival any Louisiana “throw-down!”
Unfortunately, we just learned that our Honorary Chairman, Ian Somerhalder, is unable to attend the event due to a recent injury which limits his availability to travel.  Ian asked us to let you know how disappointed he is that he cant’t be here to support the Humane Society and to convey to you his most sincere apologies.   Although we will miss Ian terribly and are so sorry that he can’t be with us, we hope you will be here to support the temporarily homeless animals of St. Tammany at this “paw-ty for a purpose” on Saturday, November 12th from 7:00pm-11:00pm at the Castine Center in Mandeville.  We promise it will be a ‘howling’ good time!

Finally, the St. Tammany Humane Society would like to personally thank you for your faithful support of our shelter.  Whether you have donated your time, money, or physical items, all donations are deeply appreciated and go directly toward the hundreds of abandoned animals the shelter cares for each year.  Only with your support is the St. Tammany Humane Society able to keep the shelter doors open to the needy animals of our parish.  We offer our heartfelt thanks to you for supporting 2011 Unleashed! “A Bash on the Bayou.”
