If you're a kid and you love animals, then you've found the right spot! The St. Tammany Humane Society has a variety of purr-fect ways for kids to get involved with helping animals! If you are younger than 16, you must have a parent present with you to volunteer.
Here are some ideas to get involved:
- Decorate adoption kennels at STHS
- Raise funds by having a lemonade stand in your neighborhood
- Ask for donations for your birthday!
- Get a group together for a specific duty we may need at our facility!
- Collect donations at school during the holidays
- Save & Donate your allowance!
At STHS, kids play an important role in making our community a kinder, safer place. We look forward to your involvement!
