The St. Tammany Humane Society would like to thank everyone who came out to Woofstock, Sunday, March 21st to support dogs all across the parish! Woofstock was an overall success thanks to participants and attendees. Music by We3 and Christian Serpas & Ghost Town rocked the stage while families and their canines great food, drinks, shopping. Some dogs even entered themselves in pet contests competing for best hipp-dressed dog, stupid dog tricks, and more! Despite the chilly weather, everyone seemed to have fun! One dog even told me he'd rather the cold weather. The vet clinic provided its low cost services to about 300 needy puppies ranging from annual vaccinations to micro-chipping! And the best part- 10 pets were adopted into new, loving homes that day! Thanks again to everyone who helped make this event a huge success, year after year!

Who We Are
The St. Tammany Humane Society is the only non-profit animal sheltering and welfare organization serving St. Tammany parish, and as such, we rely primarily on the assistance of the community we serve to care for the more than 1,000 orphaned pets that enter our shelter each year.
We offer a variety of services and have developed several programs to give these companion animals a second chance and a new leash on life.
