Adoptable Dogs

• Adam: A black lab mix who is just over a year old. He is very lovable and gets along with dogs. He loves to play outside . He would be a great family dog.

• Ashley: 5 month old female, Lab/ Rat Terrier mix.  Sweet and very playful.

• Ava Michelle:  Ava is a 5 month old Cattle Dog mix.  She is very outgoing and playful.

 
• Baby: 2 year old female, Shepherd mix. Baby is a dog that we received from another private rescue. She is great with other dogs and loves to play outside.

• Charley: 18month old male, hound mix. He was here as a puppy and adopted out, but then returned. He gets along with other dogs and is friendly.

• Cody: Cody is male, 20 week old Chocolate lab mix puppy. He is very playful and loves to be with other puppies and people!

• Coolidge: Coolidge is a little male rat terrier mix puppy who is 9 weeks old. He is very sweet and loves attention, like most puppies.

• Dante: Dante is a 4 month old chocolate and white, American Staff. Terrier. He is very playful and is a great puppy. He loves people and loves attention.

• Ernie: Ernie is a 7 year old black and silver schnauzer mix. He is a very sweet boy who would love to sit by your side and be your companion.

• Geronimo: Geronimo is a year old Akita/Australian shepherd mix. He is a great dog! He loves to play with other dogs. He gets along well with cats and he is mostly housetrained. He would love to be on a farm or a house with lots of land and other animals.

• Gina: Gina is a 13 week old boxer/terrier puppy. She suffered from heatstroke as a little pup, which resulted in a long scar down her back. She is perfectly healthy and a happy go lucky pup.

• Greg: Greg is a 13 week old Boxer/Terrier mix. He was found as a stray with his mom and his sister. He and his sister had heatstroke and as a result have a scar down their backs from it. They are very healthy now and love life. They will be great family dogs!

• Harry: 2 year old male, hound mix. Harry is another long term resident here at the shelter. We do not know why he is still here, because he is the sweetest most loving dog around! He loves to be next to you, he loves to be around other animals, and he is just soooo sweet!

• J. J.- 2 year old lab/greyhound mix- J. J. is a very sweet and shy boy. He was adopted as a puppy and recently returned. J. J. does need some special attention and does have a lot of energy. He would make a great compainion if you are willing to work with him on his nervousness.

• Jack: 13month old male, Lab/Dane mix? Jack is a mystery dog. We are not sure what kind of dog he is. However, he is a very nice dog. He is very friendly and playful and loves to be with other dogs!

• Jake: 3 year old cocker spaniel/lab mix. Jake was adopted out as a puppy but returned because he had developed a dog aggression. He is great with people. Hi likes other dogs on his terms and not around his food. He is as sweet as can be and loves to be with people.

• Liberty: 21 month old female, pointer/dalmation mix. Liberty was found as a stray by a nice gentleman. She went through heartworm treatment and is now a very healthy dog. She is a fun high energy dog that loves to run and play. It takes her a little bit of time for her to get to know you, but once she gets aquainted you are her friend for life!

• Loreli: 18 month old female, treeing walker hound mix. Loreli is a very energetic dog. She loves to play and rough house. She would love to be in a house with other dogs, animals, and lots of land!

• Lucky: Lucky is a 2 year old lab/hound mix. He is very energetic and loves to play.

• Madaline: 16 month old female, hound mix. Madaline came in with her brother. She is a stocky girl who is very friendly. She loves to play outside and to hang out with people.

• Madison: Madison is a 2 year old, female Lab/Hound mix. She loves to play and is a very happy-go-lucky dog.

• Missy: 2 year old female, shepherd mix. Missy is a very sweet girl. She loves to get attention and be petted. She loves people and would love to go home with you!

• Patty: Patty is 2 and 1/2 Beautiful Lab Mix.  She is the longest resident here at the shelter and really needs a good home.  Patty is a very energetic puppy with lots of love!!!

• Petey: 20 month old male, hound mix. Petey is a high energy dog with a lot of power. He LOVES to play and run around in a yard. He would love to go to a home with lots of land and people to play with!

• Prince: Prince is a 12 week old shihtzu mix. He is sooo cute and lovable, he looks like a little teddy bear! He would be a great family dog!

• Rachel: 20 month old female, catahoula mix. Rachel was found as a stray roaming the surrounding neighborhood around our shelter. She is very friendly to people, but likes to have space with other dogs. She doesn't mind them if they are put in a small kennel together. She must be claustrophobic. haha. She loves to play with her tennis ball and run in the yard.

• Rose: Rose is a 14 week old boxer/lab mix. She is a very cute puppy who loves company and little kids. She would be a great dog for a growing family.

• Roman: Roman is a 1.5 year old Bloodhound mix. He loves to play and is very sweet.

• Scout: 6 year old male, tricoler beagle mix. Scout is a very loving dog. He was returned because of an incident he had. We can explain it to you if you are interested. We all love him here. He is house broken, sweet, playful, and loving

• Sid: 2 year old male, yellow lab/husky mix. Sid is a beautiful dog. He gets along great with people, kids, and other dogs. He loves to play and be loved on. He would be a great addition to your family.

• Tutter: 2 year old female, shepherd mix. Tutter is a sweet girl, but is very afraid of the world. She did not have a good start to her life. She needs a family that is willing to work with her and have the patience for her to warm up to them. She really would love to find her forever home!

• Winnie: 4 year old female, terrier mix. Winnie looks just like her namesake, Winnie the Pooh. She is a fun dog who loves to play. She only likes dogs that are bigger than her. Other than that she would be the perfect dog for you!

Adoptable Cats

• Amy, Kim, and Lisa: Amy(the first one on the right, in front), Kim(first one on the left, in front) , and Lisa(second one on the right, in the back) are 15 week old torti kittens. They love to play and have fun.

• Buddha: Buddha is a 14 week old tuxedo kitty. He is brothers with Rebel and Ghandi. The three of them are great kittens who were all found as strays and need a great warm home! Come see one of them, or all three today!

• Carol: 12 week old white and black kitten. Carol is very playful and loves to be around other kittens.

• Charlene: Charlene is a 13 week old black and white kitten. She is sisters with Carol. Both are fun and playful kittens.

• Dana: 5 month old kitten. She is a little skittish around new people, but loves to play. She could use a loving patient home.

• Derek, Desiree, Drake: 5 month old kittens. They are in need of some socializing, but will be great pets once in a nice home.

• Dirk: 5 month old kitten. He is the brother to the rest of the D-name kittens. He is just like them, skittish at first, but would do great once in a home environment.

• Ernie: Ernie is a 14 week old orange and white tabby. He is a very sweet kitten who loves to be petted. He would be great with kids.

• Ghandi: Ghandi is a gorgeous classic tabby. He was found as a stray and wants to go to a great loving home.

• Jersey: Jersey is a 10 week old tuxedo kitten. He is very sweet, but a little scared of life. He needs a loving patient home to show him life is fun and full of love!

• John: John is a 14 week old black and white spotted kitten. He is very playful and loving. He came in with his mom(Olivia) and sister (Newton) who are also up for adoption.

• Melanie- 13 week old black and white kitten- Melanie hangs in with her brothers. She likes jumping and pouncing and climbing like any little kitten does.

• Momma- 3 year old black and white cat- Momma was a feral found with her small kittens. After successfully raising them she is now ready to fins a home of her own. She needs someone that is willing to work with her as she is just learning of how to be a housecat after many years in the wild.

• Morton- 13 week old male black and white- Morton enjoys playing with cat toys, his kennel mates, his own tail, basically anything that moves Morton loves. He is very sweet and after chasing down one of the above he like to snuggle up and take a cat nap.

• Mouse: Mouse is a 14 week old Calico kitten. She is a very pretty kitten and loves attention. She and her brother are very sweet and would do well in a home with children.

• Newton: Newton is a 14 week old kitten who looks just like her mommy. She is very sweet and loves to play.

• Olivia: Olivia is a year old Domestic Short Hair. She came in with her two kittens Newton and John. She is a sweetie and loves pets.

• Pickles: Pickles is a 5 year old calico. Pickles is a cat who needs to be by herself and needs one person who is going to love and work with her. She is not the friendliest cat, but needs a warm hearted person to take her home and show her that people are nice.

• Poppers: Poppers is a 2 year old grey tabby. He is a very sweet loving cat.

• Rebel: Rebel is a 14 week old male orange tabby. He is a sweet kitten, who does what he likes. His picture says it all! Come take a look at Rebel and make him your next best friend!

• Rizzo: Rizzo is a 12 week old kitten. she came in with a broken leg, but has been a trooper and healed magnificently! She is very sweet and would a new forever home!

• Selena: 13 week old black and white kitten. Selena loves to play in her tree house with her kennel mates. She loves to talk and to play.

• Sherbet: Sherbet is Slushy's mom. She is about 1.5 years old. She is a little shy but is a very sweet cat.

• Slushy: Slushy is a 14 week old orange tabby. He is very outgoing and would love to go home with his mom Sherbet. The two really love each other. Come in to see them today!

• Snowball: Snowball is a beautiful 2 year old cat. She is very friendly and loves to have her chin scratched.
